Album Notes

Hailing from Providence Rhode Island. Tommy Coma is a four piece metalcore band. The band's unique sound is derived from fusing the best of hardcore, classical and metal. This fusion creates a powerful and moving breed of music.

In spring 2003 Tommy Coma recorded their debut record titled "Set Ablaze" that was released in May 2003. Since the release of "Set Ablaze" the band has toured the Country from Coast to Coast and shows no signs of slowing down.

The key to Tommy Coma's sound comes from the diverse background of the band's members. Singer/Guitarist Tom Reardon comes from a hardcore and metal background. Tommy's guitar skills have the ability to soothe the soul one minute and burn the house the next. Drummer Josh Spears comes from a hard rock and thrash metal background. Josh's thunderous drumming and amazingly fast feet adds a blast of energy to the band's the sound. Guitarist Josh Guleserian comes from a melodic Swedish metal background. Josh's technical and sophisticated playing will leave you in awe one moment and the next make you cry with a broken heart. Bassist Mike Fontaine comes from a punk and metal background. Mike's booming bass will break ribs and ignite the soul.

Tommy Coma is a hard working and driven band. The band has been utilizing the Internet, Consistent touring and heavy promotion to help gain a national fan base. Tommy Coma is making it known that they are a force to reckon with.

Tommy Coma did a great job of crossing so many different genres. There really is something on this disc for everyone, Good fist pumping metal to a beautiful instrumental track. I highly recommend this disc!
