Album Notes

The Low Side of Jobim- This album features bassist Tommy Lockett, and percussionist Ray Frisbie. This is all bass and nothing but the bass featured in some jazz classics. Tommy ‘s use of the extended range on the 6 string bass and the fundamentals of the traditional 4 strings make this a beautiful blend of today’s contemporary bass player. Ray Frisbie adds grooving and textural percussion to this intimate rhythmic relationship.
