Album Notes

The year after he went on tour with Ian Hunter and Mick Ronson, Tommy Mandel started his own record, at Songshop Studios in NYC. It developed into bizarre but sweet pop tunes with an edge, songs of other planets, other countries, other times, just plain other worlds!

After finishing this album, the artist went on to play for Dire Straits, Bryan Adams, John Waite,Peter Wolf, Little Steven, Bo Didley, Richie Sambora and David Johansen, and record with them and Tina Turner, Cyndi Lauper, The Pretenders, and others.

He has a total of 11,732,264 CD's for sale on CDBaby, and credits Derek Sivers, CDBaby #1, with his meteoric rise to self expression, in a business hounded by dreams and disappointments.
