Tommy defines his music as aggressive acoustic American roots and is often compared to modern acts such as Ben Harper, Beck, and G-Love. Most strongly influenced by blues and reggae, there are obvious hip-hop, jazz, and even bluegrass tendencies as well. Although he concentrates hardest on bringing new and refreshing original material to the scene, Tommy likes to treat his audience with cross-style versions of his favorite artists from Willie Nelson to Wyclef Jean. He easily crosses any supposed barriers between genre or fashion, and his music has evolved over the past two decades into something of its own.

Originally from the East Coast, Tommy has traveled throughout the U.S., Canada, parts of Mexico, and recently Spain to perform and promote his various recording projects as well as to seek new influence and inspiration for his thought provoking works. Tommy's main instrument is his voice and he most often accompanies himself on guitar, but he plays many others as well from strings to percussion, some of which he makes himself and uses in live shows as well as on his recordings.

His most recent CD, Different Than i Am, has received excellent reviews from DJs, press, other musicians and writers, and most important, his audience. He currently lives in the Mountains of Colorado where he performs frequently and is working constantly with members from his backup band, the Acoustic Underground, laying down new tracks for his next release.
