Hello, thanks for your interest in my song! This tune is one of many adventurous attempts into the song-writing arena -- I just wanted to do a holiday/Christmas tune and this one 'happened'. I never have any pre-conceived ideas or formats, stuff just comes to me (from God (: This one actually has some vocal harmonies! Imagine that. (I need to do more!) I like to create songs for God, and I love folk guitar finger-pick/strumming, and classical finger-style guitar. Friends say they like my 'raw' song format (meaning not a lot of studio production - like additional instruments and orchestration) and my unique style. My goal has been to just pour out song ideas, which means 1-take guitar and vocals, kind of like I'm sitting there playing my guitar and singing for you right in your living room. Yes, a glass of tea would be fine, light on the sugar, please! (: A valid criticism I've heard is that my style could use more rhythmic diversity, and I agree! Will try in future attempts.
