Tomphoolery, defies todays paper thin lables with a fierce sound, that seemlessly shades soul smackin' hip-hop with funk/jazz/house/reggae/R&B and Drum & Bass. This music is familiar but completely new.

This highly skilled 8 piece collective is composed of a Clever MC/singer/Guitar player, a soul sister with a golden voice, Two dynamic Saxaphones, a funk keyboard master with mad trumpet skills, a supporting vocalist and one of the Craziest Live Hip hop Rhythm sections in Toronto.

The hype grows. Tomphoolery has just started to make steady waves in the scene. Tomphoolery's live show is without a doubt, one of the most captivating, rump rocking and head bopping shows around today. Selling out venues such as B-Side and Tequila Lounge, Packing the house and dropping Jaws at the DRAKE HOTEL and the RIVOLI, turning heads at this years NORTH by NORTHEAST festivals live Hip hop showcase, Having two dope live sets broadcast on CIUT 89.5, getting down at FEZ BATIK's anniversary party, tearing it up for London's university crowd, and rocking alongside such artists as BLUES UNDERDOG, DOPE POETS SOCIETY, THE FRONT, THE TANGIERS, DOWN WITH WEBSTER, THE SALADS and PLAN C, are just some of the positive experiences for Tomphoolery thus far.

Painting on a canvass of modern and cutting-edge rhythms, the "PHOO" crew implements jazz textures and rock&roll energy. Take a listen for yourself.
