"In the comedy clubs, theaters, arenas and dive bars of America, comics are part of an animalistic kingdom that is all about survival. You’ve got the lions, the kings of the jungle who sell out every performance. You’ve got your hyenas, the Emcee’s of the world who just keep on lauging. And then you’ve got your honey badgers, Tom Segura. And that’s because Tom doesn’t give a s**t. He’ll take on anything." - Nate Rankin, America's Comedy.Com
"...This comic is one dark dude...Contorting Americans’ tiresome resolution to lose weight, the, um, flabsurdist in Segura dreams of gaining 800 pounds so he can essentially commit to sit. In what amounts to public service announcements, generally for women, he thoughtfully reveals when to flee from a man sporting a ponytail and when asking “What is normal?” is an absolutely terrifying question. Even without Lasik surgery, Segura sees the mundane and the madness with equal sharpness." -John Delery, Laughspin.com
