Tom has been playing ambient music since the mid 80's. This is a technique that Brian Eno invented using tape loops in the 70's. Also Robert Fripp of "King Crimson" used this technique and called it "Frippertronics".
Tom uses digital loops not tape. The great thing about this music is that it is free form and is total improvisation. Although Tom is known as a rocker in the N.Y., N.J. & Pa. area, Ambient music is closest to Tom's heart, being a long time practitioner of Yoga and Meditation.
"Lost In love" was recorded in Tom's home in a week in July 1995 during some of the most spectacular thunderstorms tom has ever seen. The lightning was unforgetable!
