Recording artist and actor, Tom Tiratto, born in Youngstown Ohio spent his youth in Cleveland where he attended John Marshall High School. Tom participated in drama events, musicals, and also studied percussion and guitar while playing drums in the High School band. Upon achieving a proficiency in both instruments, Tom joined a local band in the Cleveland area becoming well known for his abilities as one of the top drummers in Cleveland. Tom Tiratto and his band played various types of music which included Top 40, Rock and Roll, Polkas, and Jazz. Tom later developed a great sence of appreciation and admiration for the talents of many of the great vocalists: Perry Como, Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, and the delivery of the lyric in 'Frank Sinatra'. It was also the accompaniment of the Big Band orchestras that really appealed to him. He often dreamed of what it would be like to perform with that kickin' Big Band behind him on stage.
Tom sought out the expertise of a vocal trainer who was able to teach the controlled delivery of the lyric. It was this technique that transformed Tom's voice into an almost identicle sound of the late Frank Sinatra. Tom's career began to blossom as his uncanny sound was beginning to be heard around the country at many of the finest venues, including The Miami Performing Arts Center, The Tampa bay Convention Center, and St Petersburg Collisium.
Tom has performed on several television shows, such as
'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,' 'The Nostalgia TV Production of Puttin' on the Ritz,' and 'The Nostalgia
Holiday Christmas Album.' Tom has also appeared on many
local television shows and radio spots around the country.
He was also the premiere vocalist/MC/Band Conductor at Busch Gardens, Tampa,Florida, starring in three production performances: 'Stars, Stripes & Swing,' 'Melodies & Memories,' and 'Swing of the Season.'
Tom has recorded commercial jingles for businesses in Florida, Washington, DC and is currently co-producing
two projects for companies in Germany.
Tom's latest CD entitled, 'A Tribute to Frank Sinatra,'
features many of Sinatra's greatest hits. You'll love
the smooth vocals as Tom performs the classic sounds of 'SummerWind,' 'I've Got The World On A String,' 'New York, New York,'and 'My Way'. Audiences are simply astounded by Tom's portrayal of 'A True Legend' of our time!
