Tom Yoder's CD Laying Down Roots gives me a calm, relaxing feeling. It's like going to a master mechanic where you don't have to worry about the job getting done properly because you're in the hands of a master!
Buy this CD.

Great CD, reminds me of Fleetwood Mac
author: Michael Stevens
Tom Yoder's CD Laying Down Roots is excellent! Their are hints Steve Earle, Poco, Emmylou Harris, Fleetwood Mac, etc. I love the fiddle parts, three part harmony vocals (reminds me of Gram Parsons with Emmylou) and the song selection is wonderful! In particular, Aidan's Tune the instrumental piece has a great Celtic/Riverdance feel to it.

Cool Roots record, Americana, bluegrass meets modern folk.

I listened to the first two cuts from the site and loved what I heard! Especially like: I Still Miss Someone. Great vocal blend, like early Eagles or Pure Prairie League.
I'd like to see this live!
