This album is Feinig´s first outing as a leader and composer; the mood of the songs is mostly kind of misty, elegant and thoughtful. With the three Slovenian folk songs adding some reflection on Feinig´s Slovenian side and background, showing a dedication and longing to melt together the jazz idiom and folkish side of life.
All the other musicians where colleagues and/or former students from the Royal Conservatory in the Hague, so somehow coming from the same understanding and feeling of music and jazz.
