Album Notes

Some close friends of mine have convinced me that you guys may dig this raw lil collection of songs and tomfoolery that I've done in the room over the last few years. I gotta warn you...its RAW and it's a lot more of my personality than just a bunch of tunes....in any case, it's called:

"Cool Landlord: songs from the room"

Why?

...because on one High ass night, that sounded good?

Kind of ;)...but more precisely, this was the resounding optimistic thought in our minds when we finally found a place to live after leaving New Orleans in '05...

We thought that we'd found a Cool Landlord...

Wild thing is, the landlord who inspired the moniker turned out to be the dredge of human waste that only "doo doo" sits slightly lower than on the evolutionary and moral scales...not to mention, Clinically Insane!!

But I digress....

This collection of ditties and skits isn't all about my ex-landlord...more about the time period in which we stayed in that place...a time capsule of sorts...

I did these joints at the crib in Brooklyn, mainly on a simple lil program called Garage Band. I don't claim to be a great keyboardist or drum programmer, I left in all the mistakes and chance occurences...but the songs are there...

Even when I'm serious, I'm half joking...and vice versa...
