ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
TonePharaoh was a musical experiment borne on the shores of the Carquenz straits, where the great Sacramento river meets the sea....we were seeking a new sound with our new tools; the software, processors, faster digital media...it was the end of the 20th century, and we documented the end...these were great musical excursions, experimentations, though this album just scratches the surface of the dynamic of a live TonePharaoh trance out celebration during the Bay Area Dance scene of the late 90's... part 70's Berlin, part 50's sci-fi...and a jar full of sand from the throbbing imaginations of the middle east that found its way into this music...sexy earotica, blowing through you like a hot wind...they only released this one, epic album...when all was right, a glimpse of the eternal unity , then, disbanding, like the comet across the night sky, each into their universe...
