Album Notes

Mitch Helble and Jullien McVean are both classically-trained guitarists who received scholarships to complete Master of Music degrees from the University of Colorado.
They are also active teachers holding positions at
Regis University and CU in addition to maintaining their own private studios.

Mr. Helble and Mr. McVean began collaborating in the spring of 2005 and have been actively performing while rehearsing and editing material for their first CD “Compositions by Mitch Helble,” which was released in May 2006.

The pieces on this cd reflect the interesting combination of a hard rock/classical guitar background. Both styles are brought to the forefront in a surprisingly tasteful fashion creating a very natural and adventuress sound.
