“Twangtime” constitutes a sampling of Tony Arnold's shorter guitar-centered songs from his various releases with Menage 'A Twang, Macular Degenerates, The Pachinko Allahs, Musaphonic and Gray Mortuary. Here the emphasis is on fun & melody, with the occasional side trip into psychedelic strangeness & charm. A great place to start for those unfamiliar with Gray Mortuary's repertoire. This collection contains previously-released material in addition to new works and alternative takes.
Matt Howarth of Sonic Curiosity writes: "This release from 2011 offers 73 minutes of twangy prog music. A worthwhile introduction to Arnold’s music. Meanwhile, followers will delight over the bonus material.
