World class guitarist, songwriter, producer Tony Bellantoni has released his latest album "Talk us Off the Ledge"!!
A flurry of blues-rock, groove laiden tunes fill out this 2010 release, recently chosen as "Top Pick" in the blue-rock catergory!
'Talk Us Off the Ledge' Accolades...
"Tony Bellantoni, like Jack White of the White Stripes/Raconteurs, excels in his 'guitarist as producer' role. Nice to know someone can still 'do it' like Jimmy Page used to. Looking for goose bumps? Play this loud!"
Magnet Music Magazine
"Vintage vibe, modern themes...'Talk Us Off the Ledge', delivers infectious songs and greasy riffs!"
J. Michael DeCurtis, Trend Music
"After hearing the pre-release singles off the new Swag Hooks album, it is clear that
Tony knows how to conjure great riffs into memorable songs! This stuff is a must listen for blues-rock enthusiasts."
Matt Zako MD WFOX-FM
"Snarl, Meat, Vibe...it's all The Swag Hooks!!!"
Fender Musical Instruments
"The Swag Hooks, a most blues worthy quintet from the New York/Connecticuit area mix influences such as The Black Crowes, Led Zeppelin, Lenny Kravitz, Grand Funk and down and dirty Delta blues to come up with a satisfying release that's sure to satisfy not only fans of blues rock but of organic 70's styled hard rock as well. This band certainly knows how to 'groove' convincingly!!"
Rocknrolluniverse.com
"Bellantoni's songwriting and production craft are what make this worth the price of admission."

Thank God someone is keeping Rock and Roll alive
author: Richard Doetsch
Tony Bellantoni never fails to remind us of everything rock & roll used to be and can still be in the world of over produced American Idol wannabes. With Talk Us Off the Ledge, the song writing reaches the heights of perfection akin to Aerosmith's Rocks, the Stone's Exile on Main Street, and Zep IV yet it is all current drawing on some untapped well of rock & roll genius. If She Was a Train sets the mood; nothing is better to drive to with the top down, just pray there are no cops around because once the riff hits your ears, there is no way you're driving under 90MPH. The songs just keep getting better as you journey through the LP (I so wish this was on vinyl). I dare you to sample/preview Second Wind and resist Buying this album, it's like eating one potato chip, it's impossible. Every song evokes an emotion and will fight for room in your mind as your favorite. This is sure to be one of those music moments when you say I remember the first time I heard that album. Talk Us Off The Ledge will be in your play list forever.
