Album Notes

I was born in the rubber city of Akron Ohio. I came of age in the brick city of Newark, NJ. All this time I loved music, from the country music I heard on AM radio in Ohio, the funk and soul of WWRL and WNJR to the top 40 on WABC in New York .
I started playing classical guitar at 10 and after finding that you couldn’t play guitar in the school band I picked up the double bass .Being awarded several scholarships on the bass, at 14 I started playing guitar in local club bands. This was during the seventies and the local music scene was wide open with funk disco rock and jazz being played .After majoring in music in college I hit the road with various local bands did a stint as in a house band in Montreal backing touring Reggae luminaries .I’ve also worked as a studio guitarist in Toronto
Later I met the love of my life vocalist Re Dane and we worked as a unit for a number of years. Now I’m working solo and recording my compositions and have a CD release called The Higgnbe Project and I hope its enjoyed by fans of smooth instrumentals and chill dance .This is my endeavor to fuse the various influences that have shaped my musical history
