TONY GALLA began his musical career in Buffalo, New York during the 1960's. By the age of 6, Tony was already singing gospel tunes with his family around the Buffalo area. The influence of artists such as B. B. King, Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles contribute to his unique soulful sound.

Tony helped to form Raven, a mid-sixties rhythm and blues band that was the first WNY band to land a major recording contract. As lead singer, he contributed his powerful vocal style to this Columbia Records band who shared concert stages with celebrities such as Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, Joe Cocker, and Blood, Sweat and Tears.

Tony's musical career has developed many facets. A move to the Los Angeles area has provided a wide variety of musical performance opportunities. A common week end gig might be singing for Brooke Shields wedding, playing a party at the home of Danny DeVito or providing music for a major motion picture. He has maintained his gospel roots in his songwriting and recording for White Dove Records and has performed Christian concerts around the United States. Not forgetting his Italian heritage, Tony has also recorded a collection of his favorite Italian songs and arias. Tony's appreciation and love for his Italian culture have inspired this CD and motivated this labor of love entitled Dal Mio Coure a Te (From My Heart to You).

From blues to gospel to opera, Tony's passion and gift for singing are always reveled in his heartfelt style.
