Tony Jackson’s music transcends every area of mainstream gospel, providing a full menu of musical styles. His music is innovative and cutting edge, offering a variety of gospel flavors.

Tony was born and raised in Trenton, NJ. He began singing as a child in his church choir. He currently serves as the Minister of Music for the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Trenton, NJ. He was an original member of Gospel recording artist “Devoted” and recorded on Savoy/Malaco Records. Tony has shared the stage and worked with gospel greats including Kirk Franklin, Tye Tribbet, Frank Williams, The Williams Brothers, Milton Biggham, Dorothy Norwood, Carnell Murell, GA Mass Choir, Mississippi Mass Choir and The Annointed Pace Sisters to name a few. Tony is a true baritone and embraces the deep, sultry, smooth style God has blessed him with and has become an accredited song writer and producer.

The songs on Tony’s first project offer hope for the discouraged, healing for the wounded and peace for the spiritually troubled. Tony says, “the songs on this cd will take you on a musical journey from restoration to celebration.” He realizes that efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction. That’s why the song “Wait” is one of Tony’s favorite on this project. Infused from Psalm 40:1, Tony realizes no matter how long he’s been wanting to record his own cd, he understands that waiting on God is what he needed to do. Also “Don’t Worry” is another favorite. Tony says, “No matter what happened yesterday, today is a new beginning and a fresh start, so don’t focus on your past, but walk in your new season.”

Tony’s main focus is for God to get all the glory out of this project and for the hearts, minds and souls of all who listen to be blessed. Get ready to receive your blessing from God as Tony ministers a well balanced mixture of contemporary, urban contemporary and traditional gospel.
