Album Notes

The idea to write the song, 'I'm A Jazzman' which is about jazz and record it in a party style/dance record was inspired by many friends, some of them in the recording and motion picture business. I'll just name a few. My friend, Carl D'Errico who co-wrote, 'It's My Life' which was a million seller with The Animals and went on to write many other great songs. My friend, Joe Renzetti who was the arranger on two million seller hit records. Then of course, Joe went on to receive an acadamy award for scoring the film, 'The Buddy Holly Story.' When you get a chance go to You Tube and view it. Go to Tony Messina/I'm A Jazzman. When I write songs, I play them for everyone. You can really tell what you have by people's reaction. And I play my songs for people from six to sixty. Watch their faces and listen to their words and you'll know if the song is good or bad. Maybe your song might just need a re-write. An album will follow up this single called 'Jazz Man.' Jazz Man willl be released in January of 2012. It will have all original songs on it. All of my songs were written from my heart. That's something I really focused on this time around. Go to my web site, TonyMessina.com and listen to some of my albums and have fun. Live your life to the fullest each and every day and learn to dance in the rain. Drop me an email if you ever have any questions. tony@tonymessina.com I'd love to hear from you. All the Best, Tony Messina
