Tony Rio was recently honored by winning Kenny Chesney's " Next Big Star" (Cleveland) and has taken home the Best Country Act in Ohio numerous times. Tony Rio is releasing his 3rd CD with 10 Song collaboration titled "Dance" in May 2009. Tony prides himself on being different from the "pack" by recording songs that are a being referred to as "edgy". As Tony would say " I just want to have fun and rock it out...country style" and that is exactly what you can expect from this seasoned and true entertainer. His energy is boundless as he hops on and off the stage with every song he sings. Tony started his musical career at a young age and today he looks like he was born to be on the stage with his powerhouse vocals that give life and emotion to every song he sings.
