In 2008 Bob Huber, a friend of Tony Sandler, suggested that Tony consider recording an album consisting solely of American standard love songs, particuarly those which would be familiar to most people.

Huber felt that recording those type of songs with Tony's voice and charming European accent would appeal to those who were seeking soft touch music for intimate settings.

After a rich and successful career with his former partner Ralph Young, this is the first of a series of new albums to be recorded by SIMPLY TONY.
