Topping Haggerty's debut CD 'Depends On How You Look At It' expresses her rampant eclectic tastes. From country (Last Call Queen) to rock (Favor) to folky-popy stuff (Quiet & Still) to a few instrumentals pieces the CD takes the listener on a slightly disjointed but always enjoyable journey. In her songs, Topping poetically expresses the need for home and belonging, the joy of the unknown, the confusion of grief, and the comforting truth of stupidity.
Topping Haggerty was born in Maryland, but has lived in many states and spent the majority of her youth bouncing around San Francisco, Berkeley, and Oakland, though currently she is a resident of New York City.
Topping Haggerty is also known for her one-person improvised play with improvised rock songs that she has performed in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Austin, TX: Miami, FL: Chicago, Il; New York, NY; and Toronto, Canada.
Also performing on this album are Rob Sbar on electric guitar, Nelson Montana on Bass & Drums, and backing vocals by Darlene Cah & Elizabeth Ristich.

I like the variety that this CD has. Quiet & Still is my favorite, as I can relate to what Topping is expressing, it also made me cry! Last call Queen is my second favorite because it's lively and upbeat, and just a fun song!
