Dear listener,
I wrote my first music in the late sixties, when I was 15. Since then I have always found it difficult to describe the music I compose in common terms like ”classical or rock”, as I mix the genres whatever it is a title song for a television show, a ballad for a musical or a relaxation track for a CD production. On this album you will hear genres like symphonic rock-, chill out-, lounge-, flamenco- and ethnic music blended
with a jazzy- and classical touch.
AKASHA, which comes from a 5000 year old Sanskrit language, is known as the ethereal non-visible energy, the first of the five material elements of which the physical universe is composed (AKASHA, air, fire, water and earth). Every thought, word and deed from each lifetime in our past, along with every event in which
we participated, is recorded in the universal
memory called the Akashic Record.
All past, present and probable future events are accessible for prophecy and clairvoyance. Future events are known and the experienced seer can achieve future responses with absolute clarity. We are all connected to AKASHA as it contains the most important and vital information about our soul’s purpose and journeys in the past and in this lifetime. We share fundamental ideas and consciousness and whenever we are inspired or feel intuitive, it all comes from the AKASHA energy that surrounds us.

It is easy for me to believe that new listeners will love this music. Why?
Torben Thogers albums, though different, hold so many beautiful, varying tones and timbres.
The music is readily accessible and deep like a fairytale by Hans Christian Andersen.
Much of it is eventful and ones mind creates extraordinary wonderful experiences.

Torben Thoger is an all-round composer and his music has a large audience. Until recently he has especially provided music for Danish Television, film and the theatre, but after 3 CD releases (Harmony, The Present and AKASHA), with music for relaxation and wellbeing, the doors for an international career has opened.
