Torn Page is a group of three musicians located in West Texas, named Arley Owens, Joe Prater, and Dan Kinser. Arley has been writing and playing songs since his early teens, and turned down a recording contract at 17 because the producer insisted on choosing which of Arley\'s songs he\'d be able to play and the musicians who would accompany him. Arley has hated the business side of the music industry ever since.
Arley met Joe in 1971 when the former was in desperate need of a good drummer. Though several members came and went through their various group efforts through the years, the two of them have remained together to this day. Arley and Dan met at Midland International Airport on July 2, 2004, and Dan became the lead player for Torn Page the last day of the same month.
Unlike Arley and Joe, who were raised in Texas, Dan grew up in Kansas City. The three of them share a great love and passion for good, solid music, and the combinations of their talents produces a unique sound that must be experienced to be appreciated.
