TEA Volume 1 is a collection of work by six Toronto musical acts. It is one of the most unique and varied compilation CDs of the year.

Sliced off the old cheddar block, "chI" have seasoned a melodically tangy new flavour of bizarre power punk cheese rock. Their debut album "In the morning no one cared" is in the works and will soon be released. You may indulge yourself in their latest sliced singles.

Dream Trance Invasion (D.T.I.) meanders down the avenues of ambient progressive rock. The mix of Mazzy Star, Floyd and Radiohead waver from soundscape to soundscape. It is a a soul retrieval, a ritual of deep dreaming.

Mark Harrington creates in a minimalist, experimental style. "Smile" is his first single since his last full-length CD,1999's Trash Icon. Mark's unusual voice has drawn comparisons to early Bowie, and Tom Verlaine.

Peppercorn Ranch is the wacked-out, funky, jazzy, musical vision. It embodies a sense of humour and an abundance of electric guitar leads.Time travellers welcome!

Rubbernekkerz is an often dark, synth-goth moody musical diversion. The strange arrangements are often completed with the use of analog synths, xylophones, and other toy-like instruments.
