Penelope Torribio is a noted ecology artist, bringing attention to the need to live in balance with all elements in our environment, Her favorite saying is “Decrease scaring and increase caring and awareness.” She believes that we have to stop scaring our children, not to mention adults, when it comes to ecology. Fear is not an effective tool for change. This time the topic is outer space. We are leaving trash orbiting around our earth. It is a perfect album for the study of space and ecology in schools, home school, day care, at home or in the car.

An award-winning master puppeteer and singer-songwriter, Penelope has created numerous interactive ecological shows where the audience becomes the puppeteers. Ecology awareness is achieved through music, puppets and community. These shows have turned into CDs and are popular downloads on iTune. Penelope performs at festivals and events such as: 2010 World Art Olympus, H20 festival, the Claremont City Summer Concert Series, the Shriner’s Hospital Car-Ni-Fare and more. Her children’s CDs — often sung by animals: rain forest, under sea, dinosaur, space (astro-ape program} and farm animals with the help of Penelope. She is living her message, ecology can be fun and rewarding.
