In the spring of 2002, need arose for an ensemble of skilled musicians to accompany a national recording artist. This was brought to the attention of a visionary named Gregory Henderson, who took it upon himself to form what was to become the group we now know as Total SilenceTotal Silence discovered that they not only jelled as a backup unit for others, but that they had a unique vibe when they performed on their own. Jazz-influenced arrangements of popular inspirational tunes started to flow from the ensemble as their separate talents began to blend into one cohesive groove.The bands' diverse backgrounds soon emerged as an asset to the final product, as these accomplished musicians checked their egos at the door, and did whatever was required to make Total Silence work.Their brand of jazz flavored Christian music fills a void in the Body of Christ which may not always be looking for a church setting to enjoy their favorite songs. Although the guys still very much enjoy playing in their respective churches, they also relish the chance to loosen their collars, roll up their sleeves, crank up some amps an jam for Jesus!!
