Album Notes

Touch officially began in May of 1997, after the release of Jordan's solo album, "Obscure Portrait." After exploring the "solo" scene, Lucas decided to once again begin the endeavor that set forth the band you now know today. So, "The Maudlin Etiquette" was born. This album was produced, engineered and written completely by Lucas, he went under the name "The Maudlin Etiquette." The album was called "Obscure Portrait." This album sold very well. But there was pressure from Lucas' current label, TearDrop Recordings, to set some tour dates. Lucas began searching for the completion of his band.
May. 1997. Jordan begins playing with former bassist, Corey Grashel, and "Touch" begins. They quickly get their music together and began writing, "Structural Infinite Regress." December. 1997. "Structural Infinite Regress" is released, and Touch begins touring for the single and for the upcoming release of "The Challenging Discourse." While touring, former Bliss* drummer, Joe Wilks got to play some shows with the band, and a brief uniting occurred. The new album, which came out November 4th of 2001, was produced by Lucas. With a new Los Angeles landing pad and dope new songs that will put you on your ass, the band has a much different face, but the same great sound. The band has gone through a lot in process of releasing this new CD. Jordan admits that their lives have changed drastically during the making of this album. He nodded his head when asked if they were happy that this album was almost finished. Jordan is currently putting the finishing touches on the newest project! More information on this "mysterious" work will be up soon... SO CHECK BACK SOON!
