Sleeping Beauty:

Going deeply soft and gentle into God's Sanctuary is what "Sleeping Beauty” is all about. Deep into the stillness of creating quiet gentle thoughts, allowing God to speak to you, in your dreams, your healing, or just to communicate and be in communion with God. Creating an ambient atmosphere and space, getting away from the fast pace. God inspired me to create this CD, bringing the listener into their inner sanctuary. Great for quiet prayer, helpful with healing the body, mind and spirit, or just quieting the chaos of everyday life.

The title and the project were inspired by my wife Kat, who named the CD and also was an inspiration on two of the tracks. I felt such grace and beauty within her, that the tracks "Curled up Kat" and "My Beautiful Sleeping Wife" were created. The synthesis of feeling her in a quiet place and God's Sanctuary, created the sacred atmosphere of these two pieces.

The other 8 pieces of music came from God's healing sanctuary of love and sacred space, in a feeling moment.

Ken Townshend:

As a healing artist, my passion is in creating, a feeling of wholeness within as many people as I can. My prayer is that through my music, people will be able to connect to their divine source which holds creativity and dreams. It is the feeling to the perfect state of being beauty within, that leads to an inner connection and sense of love, lightness, stillness, gentleness and peace. A link to the beauty of the moment and the gentle breath of being alive. A state of slowing down and simplicity.

When I create, I love being in the moment. This is the place of God's creativity, of letting my humanity go and experiencing God's flow of gentleness, divine love and compassion. I let the spirit within speak to me about each beautiful living moment. These are the things that I hope to convey through healing music and works.

I truly hope that this work will become a part of your inner being. I have given each piece a title, attempting to convey some sense or feeling it had for me when I felt it but I hope that you, as a listener, will give each one your own interpretation. After all, I want my music to become your music. I hope this soft, gentle music will give you a guide for your journey through life. I would like to become your soundtrack on that journey and help you find your path wherever it happens to be.
