Album Notes

Thomas Patrick Maguire hails from Woodside, Queens. The 25 year old released his first full length album on Luv-A-Lot Records. His album consists of mellow tumes, self-effacing lyrics and contagious melodies/hooks. Rafer Guzman from New York Newsday included Maguire on his list of 2003's Best of the Year's Local Sounds and described his first release (The Papertown EP- available for sale at www.thomaspmaguire.com) as a "modest gem."

Maguire's music is indeed humble and rare- a clean break from the corporate-created band music that is plaguing most of the airwaves today.

Pissing Streams is 21 emotionally driven tracks that you will find yourself playing over and over again.

(And he just completed another full-length LP.)

Punk Planet Magazine- 8/2004 Review
author: Punk Planet Magazine
Maguire, Thomas Patrick- Pissing Streams, CD Thomas Patrick Maguire is a guy with no vault. He has no spot in his memory bank where things get locked in forever with no chance for parole. Everything he feels, everything he hears, everything he witnesses, or has been done to him will make it into one of his songs. You get the warm-welcoming tour of a two- or - three month span in his life with Pissing Streams, 21 tracks of Evan Dandoism's that give the whole truth according to poetry and a four-track. (SM).
