Biographical Highlights

Tuesday Paige McDonald was born in 1965 to Naomi Fincher & Jacob Paige.
By the age of 4, Paige McDonald began her musical career as a soloist.

Childhood/Teenage Musical Background

· Age 4: Started Attending Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church in Peekskill, New York.
· Age 7: Received 1st Solo, “What Child Is This” for Christmas Pageant
· Age 8: Joined School Chorus and was given the Female Solo to “I Won’t Last A Day Without You”
· 6th Grade: Performed Solo at Graduation.
· Age 12: Joined the Mount Lebanon Baptist Church Young Adult Choir And Started Touring In Nova Scotia, Canada, South Carolina, North Carolina, Detroit, Michigan, NYC And The Tri-State Area.
· 8th Grade: Won Talent Competition.
· Age 14: Honored by the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church for Outstanding Service.
· 11th Grade: Received the part as “Church Soloist” in The Peekskill High School Production of Purlie.
· Received The Part of “Ruth Younger” in the Peekskill High School Production of A Raisin In The Sun.
· 12th Grade: Wrote the lyrics to The Senior Class Song.


Adult / Professional

· 1979-1983: Sang in The 100 Voice Gospel Community Choir - Peekskill, NY.
· 1980s: Sang at the Legendary “Sweetwaters” in New York City.
· 1986: Received the Part Of “Mama” In The Off-Broadway Play, Reaching For The Stars – NYC.
· 1986: Joined The Gospel Group, Genesis Under The Direction Of Professor Derek A. Roberts.
· 1987: Started Professional Background Session Work.

· 1988: Hired to perform Weekend Vocal Performance Contract Work at Chelseas in NYC.

· 1993: Opening Act for Mary J. Blige at S.U.N.Y/ College At Old Westbury.

· 1994: Appointed As Director of The Mount Lebanon Youth Choir, The Lebanaires, (Same Choir that Paige McDonald Sang with at the age of 4.)
· 1995: Formed The Group, Trinity, With Jeannine Davis And Lesia Suarez.
· 1997: Formed The Mervyn L. David Gospel Ensemble
· Venue Soloist for J.K. Restaurant’s Sunday Brunch.
· 2007: Appointed Director Of Music for the Historic Mt. Olivet Baptist Church, Rev. Dr. Aldophus C. Lacey, Pastor.
