Dolores Paradise and DJ Julio started out as vanguard in the Boston New Wave scene in the 1980’s. Always recognized for having highlighted the more artful and atmospheric aspects of that genre, they have reemerged with The Power of Suggestion. Citing influences such as Motown, Euro Pop, and modern Chill-Out/downtempo electronica they are ever inventive and seeking out new space. The Power of Suggestion is creating music for a new century, and a world without barriers. Sonically rich and relevant, this music reminds us that beauty and truth still exist in an era which sorely lacks both.
