Album Notes

Who is Tracey? She is not a pretty face seen at a station nor the name of some fast car.She is neither the name of a guitar nor the name of an old flame.Tracey is just a tough name that could belong to anyone or anything. Thus, Traceys Mend is the name of a band. In the last few years Tracey’s Mend has developed a sound that can be heard coming from a storage unit rented for a few dollars a month. Tracey’s Mend is a band that is driven by the aspiration to write music worth believing in.

One goal and one vision, tunnel vision, until the light at the end of the tunnel can be seen closer to the end or closer to the train. Tracey’s Mend was formed in the fall of 1999 with the idea of recording an acoustic album. What started as an easy project snowballed into adding new members, losing members and recording anything but an acoustic album. With the help of producer (Daddy J. Fez), Tracey began recording their debut album called Blue Above The Wires. The release of an ep titled “A Soul Without A Summer” is a preview of what’s to come on the full length CD.
