Album Notes

Recorded in periodic sessions between 2002 and 2004 – this 2005 independent release by Traci Rae Letellier is influenced by southern, Appalachian, Celtic, folk and blues musical traditions. It features six original songs by Letellier, including, \"Autumn Song,\" \"Misery Girl,\" \"Rest Your Head, Love,\" \"Minus Ab Angelis,\" and the bluesy, \"To: Adam, Love: Eve.\"

A poem by the Jazz-Age poet, Edna St. Vincent Millay, makes a guest appearance to the backdrop of an original tune by Letellier. An instrumental collaboration by brach and Letellier acts as album interlude. Look for a handful of traditional tunes to round out the melancholy line-up, including the Civil War era songs, \"Southern Soldier Boy\" and \"Johnny Is Gone For A Soldier,\" American spiritual, \"Poor Wayfaring Stranger,\" and Southern folk hymn, \"Jesus, Lover Of My Soul.\"
