"Autumn's Desire" was a demo recording. "The Tracy Beck Trio" emerged when Tracy hooked up with The talented jazz pianist, "Mike Campbell." He was looking for a female alto vocalist to accompany him. Tracy, along with her former manager and percussionist, Darnell Ellis joined Mike to record this jazz session so they could get work and perform live in the jazz sector. The session consists of four tracks. Two of the tracks are remakes of the popular jazz standards, "Fever," and "Mack The Knife." "Autumn's Desire," composed by Tracy Beck and Darnell Ellis; "Cancun," composed by Tracy Beck. The song "Autumn's Desire," feels like a brisk walk in Central Park on a crisp fall night. The palate of the overall session is smokey. The trio never performed these songs live. Shortly after the recording session Darnell Ellis suffered a stroke and lost the coordination and movement in his left arm. After rehabilitation Darnell Ellis came back to perform on Tracy Beck's up and coming CD, "AS An Eagle Soars," which will be released in summer 2008. Mike Campbell and Tracy continue to perform as a jazz and blues duo.
