Album Notes

Southwest native/ Nashville resident, Tracy Page's long-awaited "Tracy Page: Collective" CD features 17 tracks, and
proves to be a GREAT VALUE.
Tracy's style is reminiscent of the Eagles, in that
she can deliver a country ballad with emotion and depth on tracks like "After You, After All", "You Already Drove Me There", and the Garth Brooks penned "I Don't Want To Know",
and then rock with the best of them on "Little Victories" and the kicker, "I'd Like To Help You With That".
And in between, you'll find great cuts like the feel-good
"Full Moon Friday Night", the move-on anthem "It's Not About Blame", and the cool bluesy survival-mode track "Sure Ain't Headed Home".
The Nashville club favorite and true gem in this treasure trove is the totally unique and moving "Mother Earth, Father Sky". It's affecting lyrics are perfectly complimented by the chord movements and haunting surreal guitar work by Nashville great, Mark Thompson. It has become Tracy's signature song.

Tracy moved to Nashville in 1990, and soon passed her first audition at the famed Bluebird Cafe. She has since performed there numerous times, as well as at many other local clubs. She formed her own band, focused on her songwriting, and landed a writing contract with Garth Brooks' publishing company for one of her songs, "That Girl Doesn't Live Here Anymore", which she co-wrote with #1 hit songwriter, Chris Waters. She and Waters also penned the bluegrass-infused "The First Thing About Love".
She also opened for fellow Nashvillian, Peter Frampton.

Tracy lives in Nashville, where she continues to write and
perform. She also has a small gourmet products company,
and does ongoing work for her other passions, animal welfare, and Native American educational programs.
