Trainor's first children's CD "Under Tables, Out Back Doors" continues to receive rave reviews. The CD was awarded a 2001 "Platinum Seal" from the Oppenheim Toy Portfolio (www.toyportfolio.com), an independent reviewer of children's toys and media. The CD also received a Parents' Choice "Recommended" award, a Parents Guide 2000 Media Award, and it won the 1999 Wammie Award from the Washington Area Music Associaiton as "Best Album" for kids. In 1999 the Childrens Music Network named Trainor "Best New Artist for Young Children" and ranked the CD in the top 5 reviewed.

It seems to me that making up music and singing with children must be the most inspiring vocation there could possibly be. "Under Tables, Out Back Doors" is the product of the inspiration I've drawn from the work I've been privileged to do with kids in my community during the last several years. I've also been the beneficiary of Marcy Marxer's great musical creativity (which is well known) and her genius in the studio.
