Album Notes

Transient's home is the southeastern Pennsylvania town of West Chester, not far from Philadelphia metropolis. They are three musicians from different musical backgrounds that when combined produce a very unique and melodic blend of music. Not only do they have a strong musical bond, they have been close friends for many years and this can be heard in the music that they create together.

James Brant, Jimmy Lynn, and Mike Scott began playing as Transient in the summer of 2003. What started out primarily as free form jam sessions quickly progressed into something more. Lyrics and melodies started to seep their way into the music, and the journey began.

Starting out playing parties for friends, Transient was soon in every bar thatwould let their music be heard. Within a few short months they were playing some of the most popular venues in the Philadelphia area including, The 5 Spot, North By Northwest, Abilene, and the TLA. Transient was also ranked among the top 12 of 140 bands in the Philadelphia area by Emergenza, an international music festival.

If you have not yet heard them, you soon will. It will be a sound that you will not soon forget.
