Album Notes

Tranzfusion are twenty year veterans of the east coast rock scene. The band puts the emphasis on passion and authenticity, priding themselves on being one of only four classic rock bands on the planet that still refuse to play Free Bird. Instead, Tranzfusion mine the Beatles, the Stones, the Who, Jimi Hendrix, Neil Young, the Doors, Bob Dylan, and Led Zeppelin, among others. The core of the band, keyboardist Bob Davis, guitarist Hank Koenig, drummer Bobby Malaby, and bassist Tom Malaby have over two decades of experience under their belts, and show no signs of slowing down.

In 2004, guitarist / bassist Josh Davis joined the band, bringing contemporary influences such as R.E.M. and the White Stripes, while adding a solid textural backdrop to Koenig's soaring leads.

Lotus, the band's first album penned by Davis, effortlessly blurs the lines between classic and modern rock. Ebows merge with melotrons. The ethereal soundscapes of CSNY meet the stripped down raw power of Nirvana. This is an album for anyone who loves great, authentic rock and roll.
