The music has evolved and the musicians have changed, but the sound has remained unmistakably Trapezoid through the guiding hand of Trapezoid founder, Paul Reisler. A sensual blend of acoustic instruments and haunting voices telling stories about their lives, their loves, and the natural world. Their affection for America's roots and culture flows through their two decades of performing to create an original and singly-American music.

Trapezoid, known affectionately to their longtime fans as "The Zoids", has been at the forefront of the contemporary acoustic music scene since 1975. Their previous albums are Trapezoid (Traditional Records, 1975), Three Forks of Cheat (Rounder Records, 1978), Now and Then (Flying Fish, 1980), Another Country (Flying Fish, 1982), Cool of the Day (Sugar Hill,). Moon Run (Narada/MCA Records, 1990) and Remembered Ways (Azure, 1994). Their music is represented on numerous samplers as well as on over 2 dozen records with other artists including Holly Near, John McCutcheon and Sally Rogers.
