The album offers the listener a stunning musical overview of the group that the Washington Post called “the finest folk group in America”. LONG TIME demonstrates that after twenty years, 1800 concerts and 8 critically-acclaimed albums, it is still the song that binds the band together. The music has evolved and the musicians have changed, but the sound has remained unmistakably Trapezoid through the guiding hand of Trapezoid founder, Paul Reisler. A sensual blend of acoustic instruments and haunting voices telling stories about their lives, their loves, and the natural world. Their affection for America's roots and culture flows through their two decades of performing to create an original and singly-American music.
