Album Notes

The Travellers were formed in 1998. Their distinctive sound consists of a special style of dance music, in which the foundation is based on the American roots music with their own sensibility. It creates a feeling of nostalgia, and its output is definitely an attractive new sound. The band's first recording, "TRAVELLERS", was released in 1998. In 1999, they released the album, "GOD SPEED", followed by their first West Coast tour in the U.S. and also in London. In 2000, the Travellers released 2 albums, "JUMP & ROLL" and "THE TRAVELLERS". In 2002, they released their first live album "Jumpin' at N.Y." which was recorded live in New York. In 2003, the band appeared in a movie film called "Rockers". Their famous re-arrangement of "Pink Champagne" was recorded onto its soundtrack. In 2004, they flew to Hollywood to record an album. Daniel Glass, from Royal Crown Revue, joined their project as a music producer and also as the special guest drummer. They created an album, called "Dig That Beat". Right after that, they toured all over Japan, and made their first LIVE DVD, called "Dig Dag Diggin' Tour". The Travellers appeared at the famous FAT FESTIVAL in Bangkok for four years in a raw since 2004. In 2006, they released "EAST BOUND" which was recorded in Bangkok.
