The first in a series of albums telling stories from travellers all around the world. Dromomania - the compulsive urge to travel is becoming more and more contagious with thousands of people throwing a rucksack on their back, picking exciting destinations they have only dreamt of, buying a round trip ticket and leaving their job.
This urge to travel is being recorded by way of journals, photographs, memories and storytelling. The TRAVELLERS JOURNAL concept tells travellers' tales through music and photographs with genuine sounds from the street, nature and local dialogue.
TRAVELLERS JOURNAL - BORACAY is a concept by musician Matt Deegan who records whilst on the road with artists from all around the world contributing to the album and Matt has used his connections with these musicians to create a truly unique album. The album is split into three musical genres; drum & bass, house and chillout. These boundries overlap so BORACAY flows smoothly from one genre to the next.

I first heard this album in a chill out bar out in Thailand this summer and I must admit it’s now migrated to be one of my fave albums on my ipod. It reminds me of Morcheeba meets Massive Attack but with a twist – the vocals are really, pretty, the rhythm is chilled with elements of drum & bass and the subtle sounds from the street add an original flavour to it.
I’d recommend anyone going to spend their hols chilling in bars to download this on their ipod before they leave…

Love this album! It's a mixture of British tunes with a little Filipino culture added to it, and the outcome...pretty amazing!
I love how the Artist mixes filipino style with his own and creating a totally different experience. It's the kinda music you listen to when you're off backpacking, travelling or just simply on your everyday travels..
My fave tracks - definitely worth mentioning are - IF IT FIT'S ITS HIP & FORGETTING - I listen to it everyday just b4 work! A perfect way to start a day..
Worth every penny! I'm already waiting impatiently for the next!!
