Album Notes

Travis Tooke Returns!

Former For Squirrels and Subrosa Guitarist/Vocalist and Songwriter returns after an 8-year hiatus!

Founding member of Sony/Epic recording groups For Squirrels and Subrosa, Tooke finally releases his long-awaited debut solo CD, “Artichoke,” on Indigo Planet Records. For Squirrels’ CD “Example” was an alternative radio staple in the mid 90’s, partly due to the success of the hit song “Mighty K.C.” The band’s two surviving members regrouped under the name Subrosa, releasing one CD for Epic records in 1997.

Travis was last seen in 1999-2000 on the breakout Creed tour, in support of Subrosa’s highly underrated Epic Records release “Never Bet the Devil Your Head.” Since then, he has stayed out of the spotlight, writing and creating highly personal music. He still rocks, and plays a mean game of Ultimate Frisbee.
