"Italian Songbird" contains some of the most beautiful songs that you will ever hear, and Antoinette's beautiful voice brings these great songs to life.
Making beautiful music comes naturally to Antoinette. As a child, she was inspired by her father, Nicolas Tredanary, who performed under the name of "Tony Trent" in the 50s and 60s, and toured with several popular bands. Her many friends and deep family roots in Cleveland's Little Italy have provided her with the desire to record these great Italian songs that she loves so much.
Antoinete's recent experiences as an adoptive mother have also inspired her to write many beautiful new songs, such as "A Pretty Songbird", which is included on this CD. A third CD of all-original music is now in the works.

Not sure what to expect; Pleasantly Pleased!

I bought this CD for one song only, "Way Marie/Oh Marie," and was very pleased with the entire CD. Tredanary has a pleasant and relaxing voice to listen too. I am not Italian so don't know the words--many of the songs are in Italian; but I find I enjoy listening to her songs as I go to sleep at night. I'm happy I went looking for the song I wanted...and found this album. I highly recommend it!

These are some of the finest traditional Italian songs sung by an American artist with style and flair. Antoinette's ability to capture the old-world sounds with her pure, sweet voice is absolutely astounding. The mixture of music and song choices is great, and everything about this CD made us happy and left us wanting more songs. We can't wait for the next release to add to our collection!
