Hey Mark:
Thanks for the CD's. Your friend is a very good musician.
I am listening to his CD as I'm writing this. He is certainly
no slacker. I personally hate guitars played by them (hackers)
cuz any fool can pick up a guitar, buy a book, tune it the
eastern scale and strum with a match book when fingers get
red and blistered (I learned to strum a Uke with matchbook
courtesy Ed ad GCC), but I digress . . .
So this guy is a breath of fresh air. He also has some
counterpoint and interesting baroque type things going
on. He as a good grasp of dynamics and his stuff
flows more melodically then most even though he is
more chord motivated.
I especially enjoy the high quality of recording. You mentioned
that his son does the recording, he is good as well.
Thanks so much,I really appreciate it!!!! jer

Orignal Acoustic Guitar Music played with very intense emotion.
author: Mark Sgaggio
Michael has recorded some music with very intense emotion behind it. At times the music is hypnotic, at times it is driving. Listen to it through headphones to experience the full body of harmonics created. Relax and listen as melody and bass lines dance from the guitar. It's hard to believe that all this music is being created at one time with no overdubs on the guitar. A very creative orignal project, that sounds fantastic.

It's a real treat to hear acoustic music that is unique and still keeps a wonderful feeling of tradition alive without succumbing to some of the hype in today's market place. This Cd is a winner in my book. Kip Fritcher/Studio 45
