ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
We are Trees. We began manifesting this album in the fall of '09, in a small apartment in Berkeley, California and finished it in the fall of '11 in a basement in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We weren't really sure what our intentions were in the beginning, but it quickly evolved into something we weren't fully prepared for, but something we needed to get out of our system and into yours. This album is all over the place as far as the "sound" is concerned, but the feel, we feel, is consistent in its' soul. We, and our friends, have found this album to be very helpful while working on late night projects or playing with your dogs. It's also very dance worthy, for during the process, there was much dancing, so that has seemingly seeped into the spine of most our songs. There is really no inappropriate situation to listen to Trees, but there's only one way to know if any of this is true.
