Powerful and intense yet harmonic and passionate; this is the only way to describe the music produced by this metal band from Detroit, Michigan. Formed in the Spring of 1999, this ever evolving musical entity takes pride in knowing that they don't fit into and preconceived category and that their music can only be explained by the emotions which it invokes in the listener. A tireless group, they not only play the music they love, they live for it, and it shows. With the release of their EP "First Assault" in January of 2004, they unleashed the first taste of what was to come. It became an instant hit with the underground scene. With the anticipated release of their first full-length album "Bleeding for the Sake of Bleeding" on April 12th 2005 they are prepared to take the metal scene by storm, proving why they deserve the attention and recognition they have worked so hard to achieve. Recorded by Walls of Jericho guitarist Mike Hasty in the same studio used to record their most recent release "All Hail the Dead", as well as The Black Dahlia Murder's label debut "Unhallowed", "Bleeding for the Sake of Bleeding" will prove to be a representation of what TrenchFoot has to offer. Sharing the stage with such bands as HateBreed, Byzantine, Premonitions of War, Agnostic Front, God Forbid, Love is Red, It Dies Today, Caliban and others, responses from the audience have been nothing less than overwhelming. With swinging guitars, intense drumming, and the visual onslaught of their stage performance, a TrenchFoot show becomes more than just a musical experience, but one for all the senses. No matter where they play, the audience is left captivated by the interaction not only between the band members, but also their ability to make each person in the venue feel a connection with the music and band themselves. Holding in strong regard the closeness they create with everyone they meet, this band makes sure that those who support them don't only do so for their musical ability, but also for their personalities. Determination being their best attribute, this band will stop at nothing to achieve every goal they set for themselves. These are to gain the respect of listeners through their music, performance and personalities, to build a foundation of family and friends, and to take the next step whatever that may be. With help from their sponsors, such as guitar-cable.com, Mayhem Clothing, Karosa Guitars, Pickfactory and others, they have done whatever it takes to get where they are and don't plan on slowing down anytime soon.
Determination, intensity, passion and raw talent, TrenchFoot is:
Noel Thomas - vocals, Paul Barager & Justin Kras - guitars, Justin Revoir - bass and Jay O'Connell - drums.

Trenchfoot show with this release that they’re ready to move up to the big leagu
author: The Gauntlet, Erin Fox
Trenchfoot are busting out of the Detroit scene with this bone-jarring batch of songs that will go over very, very well with the metalcore fans. These guys put a touch more of a hardcore edge into their sound, slamming through pit favorites “Reprisal Of Innocence” and “At Long Last” with a hard nosed intensity. Vocalist Noel Thomas has a distinctive voice that lends itself well to the material, issuing pitbull barks during “Disillusion” that are gruffer than a pissed off billy goat. “Evermore” is anthemic in nature; its chorus will lend itself well to crowd sing-alongs in a live situation. Thomas touches on topics like unity in this cut’s lyrics with lines like “Sacrifice means nothing unless we are willing to come together as one”, you can tell that even for a young man, Thomas has a good amount of hardcore wisdom he wants to drop on the people. Throw Slayer and Hatebreed into a blander and out comes “An Angel” and that’s a compliment. Trenchfoot show with this release that they’re ready to move up to the big leagues. It will be interesting to see what happens when they do.
