Album Notes

Claire Trentain was born in Cairns and raised in Central Queensland, Australia.

Her creative interest in music and the arts came at an early age. After graduating high school, Claire went to university to complete a Bachelor of Visual Arts whilst continuing with her music.

Over the next couple of years, Claire focused on writing her own music and developing her unique pop style.

This talent did not go unnoticed.

In April 2004, after catching the attention of several local labels, Claire had the opportunity to travel to America and Europe on a songwriting sojourn working with writers from Murlyn Music Group, Multiplay Music and Sony.

Whilst exploring her creativity abroad, she gained international respect as an inspiring young songwriter.

Murlyn Music, responsible for Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Janet Jackson and Jennifer Lopez, were so impressed with Claire's unique musical prowess they were keen to produce her debut album. As former Vice President of Murlyn Music, Pelle Lidell described 'Claire is an amazing talent'.

After several trips around the world, Claire has an outstanding portfolio of music contributing to her impressive debut album.
