Well, there are only a few words needed to describe this CD and actually Trent in general, AMAZING and INSPIRING are the two that first pop up for me. The duo format seems to be a very tricky choice for most musicians to tackle but Trent seems to do it effortlessly on this album. I highly recommend you check out this great trumpet player and improvisor on this great CD.

This is a fantastic disc! It is interesting to listen to this back to back with Trent's 1st disc (Trumpet 101). There is notable difference in approach.
The tracks are very tasteful, and being duo, they are very exposed. This CD promotes a great opportunity to really get inside of the sound of the horn. Similar to Trumpet 101, you can detect a few different personalities on this album but it is quite different.
I am sure you would enjoy!

As a collection of intimate one-on-one “conversations” between Austin and his featured piano or guitar accompanist, Two-Toned is an “eavesdropping” opportunity to be treasured.
